Ilana Szobel | “Disability and Sexuality in Israeli Culture”

A Talk in the Jewish Cultures and Societies Seminar Series, Mahindra Humanities center at Harvard

This talk addresses access to pleasure and sexuality for women with disabilities. Through an examination of the autobiographical photographs of Israeli artist Limor Ashkenazi, it sheds light on a powerful artistic perspective that articulates Crip sexuality, taking pride in the sexual expression that evolves from disability itself.
