Ilan Abecassis holds a B.A. in Archaeology and Biblical Studies and a M.A. in Biblical studies from the
Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies and Ancient Near East from Ben-
Gurion University in Beer Sheba.
He is a Biblical and Ancient Near East historian, a writer, a podcaster and a licensed tour guide.
