This page will be updated periodically during the academic year.
The Center for Jewish Studies sponsors Visiting Professors and Lecturers in a variety of academic disciplines to supplement our course offerings in Jewish studies.
We also host several research scholars each year:
- Harry Starr Fellows in Judaica: a group of scholars (from post-doctoral fellows to senior faculty) in a particular field of Jewish studies for a semester or a year to conduct full-time research at Harvard
- Alan M. Stroock Fellows for Advanced Research in Judaica: for Post-doctoral Fellows and Visiting Scholars to conduct research at Harvard. Some scholars who apply for the Harry Starr Fellowship in Judaica are offered the Stroock Fellowship to join the Harry Starr Fellows in Judaica cohort. This fellowship may also be used to support Scholars at Risk.
- Daniel Jeremy Silver Fellow: for an active congregational rabbi to spend a semester conducting full-time, independent research at Harvard
- Visiting Scholars, Associates, and Research Associates in many areas of Jewish studies to come to Harvard to conduct independent research at Harvard
