Prerequisite: Students should have sufficient experience with Talmud to prepare and be prepared to read the text in the original language with commentaries.

Exam Type: No Exam

In this course we will be investigating the history of the development of the sugya from its tannaitic sources and to its final redaction by the anonymous editors of the Talmud. We will be studying the second chapter of Pesachim. Students are required to get a copy of the Mesivta edition of this chapter which the HLS Coop has ordered.
