On April 28, at the close of the 2022-2023 academic year, our new Modern Hebrew instructor Ran Bechor invited Yoni Rechter to a master class with all modern hebrew students. Thank you, Ran, for making this event possible!
I recently had the pleasure of participating in one of the most amazing events in my time @harvard. In the final Hebrew class of the year for @HarvardNELC, instructor Ran Bechor invited legendary Israeli composer Yoni Rechter to class. Rechter took questions from Romy Neumark
and the students. The highlight was him playing three songs the students learned during the year on the unassuming piano in the corner. I can’t imagine a more experiential way to engage with language and culture. And me? I was just starstruck.
