Noah Feldman has been honored with the highest faculty distinction: UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR
The CJS congratulates Professor Feldman, Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law, chair of the Society of Fellows, founding director of the Julis-Rabinowitz Program on Jewish and Israeli Law, and an active member of our Executive Committee, on his appointment as Arthur Kingsley Porter University Professor.
The title of University Professor was created in 1935 to honor individuals whose groundbreaking work crosses the boundaries of multiple disciplines, allowing them to pursue research at any of Harvard’s Schools. Three more professors were appointed as well: Catherine Dulac, Claudia Goldin and Cumrun Vafa.
