The CJS is happy to share these opportunities offered by the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA:
The Steiner Summer Yiddish Program offers college students and recent graduates, ages 18-29, an opportunity to take a full year of Yiddish-language courses (worth up to six college credits) in seven weeks, tuition-free, at the Yiddish Book Center. The 2023 Program runs June 4 to July 21, 2023. Apply by February 7.
The Fellowship Program is for recent college graduates with strong academic backgrounds, at least a working knowledge of Yiddish language, and a commitment to learning more. The 2023-24 Fellowship Program runs from September 2023 to August 2024. Apply by January 3.
